Session chair and speaker at the TÜBA – İstinye University event
Prof. Nazlı Ece Güngör Aksoy chairs the Nanomedicine and Regenerative Therapy Technologies session at “Innovative Developments in Regenerative Medicine and Biomedical Technologies”, and presents the testis-micro technology developed for personalised male reproductive medicine.
“Innovative Developments in Regenerative Medicine and Biomedical Technologies”, organised jointly by the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) and İstinye University, takes place on 25 September 2026 at the ANK102 Conference Hall, İstinye University Vadi Campus. The event is held in hybrid format, with limited capacity for on-site attendance.
The programme brings together TÜBA-GEBİP award-winning scientists across four sessions: Personalised Medicine and Data Analytics, Nanomedicine and Regenerative Therapy Technologies, Biofabrication and Tissue Engineering Technologies, and Microfluidics, Biosensors and Biomedical Diagnostic Technologies.
Prof. Nazlı Ece Güngör Aksoy takes on two roles at the event. She chairs the second session, “Nanomedicine and Regenerative Therapy Technologies”, and between 15.30 and 15.45 delivers the talk “Testis-Micro Technology for Personalised Male Reproductive Medicine”.
The subject of the talk is directly connected to the work carried out in our laboratory: a microchip-based testis model built with human-specific cell lines. Details of the study are available in the Testis Micro entry in the Portfolio section.
The opening addresses are delivered by conference coordinator Assoc. Prof. Ayça Bal Öztürk, İstinye University Rector Prof. Erkan İbiş and TÜBA President Prof. Muzaffer Şeker.
