Molecular Biologist
Hadice Karahan
Biruni University, Molecular Biology and Genetics (2021 – 2026)
Responsible for the experimental design and coordination of R&D projects and for carrying out laboratory processes.
About
Hadice plans and coordinates the experimental work of NeoPreklinik's R&D projects and takes part in laboratory processes. She graduated from Biruni University's Molecular Biology and Genetics programme, taught entirely in English.
She has gained experience in molecular biology techniques including primary cell isolation, two- and three-dimensional cell culture, PCR, nucleic acid isolation, immunofluorescence staining and MTT assays. She carried out experimental research within a TÜBİTAK 2209/A project and the company's own R&D projects, and took part in the theoretical and practical training of interns.
During her internship at İstinye University's Stem Cell Laboratory she worked on stem cell culture, three-dimensional organoid production and immunofluorescence microscopy. As a volunteer researcher at a biobank she performs leukocyte isolation from patient blood samples and handles the storage of blood and tissue samples to biobank standards together with sample tracking.
